The are three mode you can make it into. you can’t make all three at the same time unless you own three set of this kit. To change mode all you need is just part swap.

This is the peg that can be connected to the HG kit to make this kit into a backpack.

If you own a Gundam Portent the part actually fit on it. So you now got a part to change your portent look a bit than the default portent look.

KMC Hyper Mat sleeve

First off I have to say at last my windows live writer is working with blogspot again and I no need to log in just to type a post.

IMG_3237IMG_3238

Back to this post. This is the hyper Mat sleeve from KMC. There are 80 sleeve in each packet unlike the ultra pro which only have 50 sleeve per packet but this sleeve cost at $11bnd per packet at reader havens.

IMG_3239

inside the big packet there are two packet inside where each packet hold 40 sleeve inside.

IMG_3240IMG_3241

The back of the sleeve are mat with a bit of engraving and the front part are a clear plastic due to that the shuffling feel nice and smooth.

IMG_3242

The sleeve is not indestructible though as I manage to split it but it does give me a bit of resistance when doing so. Another thing is that when I did this the back part of the sleeve got tear. I m not sure this is a thing for matt sleeve or it only happen to this sleeve.

The Pro.

  • The sleeve come in a pack of 80 sleeves so you can sleeve that 60 cards deck with the sideboard and you still got extra 5 more sleeve for just in case the sleeve you use split.
  • The sleeve fit just nice for double sleeving.
  • the shuffle feel is just nice.
  • Even though it can be split but it still hold up when with it for some time.

The Con.

  • The sleeve still can split.
  • The price are a bit expensive as $11 for 80 sleeve while you can get 100 ultra pro sleeve for $12.

Japanese brand Deck Box

First off no it is not from ultrapro, ultimateguard or any of that branded deck box. It is a a deck box from some Japanese company which i don't know which one as i don't read Japanese. It is cheap deck box as it only cost $5bnd for a set of two and there were two color to choose from clear or clear red. However this deck box is not selling at the card shop here as i got mine from a MTG player who were selling the box.

So what are the Pro of this deck box compare to the other deck box that i bought (ultra pro).

  • It is cheap as ultra pro deck box cost me $6 bnd per box and this cost me $5bnd for two.
  • It can store 75 card double sleeve while my ultra pro can only store up to 60 cards double sleeve.
  • There is a locking to the deck box so the card will not fall off when given a shake upside down.
Well there are no such thing as a perfect deck box so here are the con of the deck box.
  • Lack of color choice unlike the ultra pro which got plenty of an option. Than again since i don't know this company well and they may have other color out there but i haven't seen any yet so i just left this as a con for now.
  • There are an opening on both side of the flap. The reason why i say this is a con is because that there is a chance that water may enter the opening and ruin your card.
In the end i feel that this deck box is still worth it as it is cheap and can store your 60 card deck with sideboard. Color wise i don't really bother as i'm planing to paint one of it and see how it go. If all go well i can have any color of deck box i want.

[Dragon Momoko] little bear family

First thing first, this is not from Bandai and it is from a third party company call dragon momoko or DM for short. It cost $22bnd per box at hobby model ent shop and in each box you get three little bear and not one. This kit is an easy to build kit and you can finish building one little bear in like 15-30 min.

The manual is at the back of the box and not in a booklet. This i don't really mind as i only need to build one little bear with the manual and i can build the rest without it as it is easy to build.

This is what you get from the box. Three identical runner with three different color, than another 3 identical runner with the same white color. Also two PC part with one sheet of sticker for the eye and nose. Plastic wise it look very good, sure you can't compare it with Bandai but so far the nub are place in a hidden way so the kit will not have much nub mark when it is finish assemble. As for the snap fit so far it was all good except for the ear part where i need to give it a bit more effort to make it snap in.

This is how it look like when it is finish assemble. Each bear are approx. 8-10cm tall hence the name little bear. so far it take a bit of balancing work to make it stand on it own and maybe just maybe you can use the nendoriod stand for this but i m yet to test that.

They also give you a chair and some kind of a shield thingy (not sure what it is). The chair can be connected to the back of some of the 1/144 gunpla backpack slot so instead of a backpack the gunpla is carrying this little bear on a chair, though it would look better with a bearguy III kit.

This is all the three color bear in one box. manage to finish all three approx an hour or so while watching some series. one box down and five more to go and i'm planing to give each bear a different color so any bear build after this three will be painted. So if everything go well i will have at least eighteen bear and each will be in different color from other.

Ultra Pro Deck Box

This will be my first purchase of deck box as i usually just make it my self using a duct tape in which you can check it out here a video from a youtube where i learn to make one. Since i was lazy to make two for the Elspeth and kiora deck so i decide to get this two box. This deck box cost $6bnd each at Reader Haven and since the $12bnd can save me a lot of time so i m thinking why not.

This deck box got no issue with storing a 60 single sleeve card deck and it still got space for the side board.

I cant say the same about double sleeve though, as box can only hold 60 double sleeve card. So this box cant hold any sideboard if the card is double sleeve. There are an ultra pro deck box that are bigger than this that can hold 60 double sleeve card and double sleeve sideboard but that box i don't have any.

One thing i don't like about this deck box though is that with a little shake the top can open by it self and cause your card to fall out.
